New Metallica for Guitar Hero III

This Friday, Metallica's new album Death Magnetic will be simultaneously debuting in stores and as DLC for Guitar Hero III. That's right - you can download a Metallica album without Lars yelling at you.

The ten track album will be sold for 1440 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and $17.99 on Playstation Network. The Guitar Hero version of the album will also come with two exclusive renditions of the song "Suicide & Redemption" that featured extended solos.

Lest you think it's a waste to buy DLC for GHIII with Guitar Hero World Tour only a couple months away, it's worth noting that the Death Magnetic tracks will also be compatible with World Tour. GHWT will be released on October 26th.
