Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge Trailer Proves This Isn't A Children's GameAuthor: Pete Haas

Today Tecmo Koei unveiled another trailer for Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, the Wii U edition of NG3. This game might be for a Nintendo console but don't think for a second that it's family-friendly.
The trailer is almost two minutes of Ryu Hayabusa ripping enemies apart. There's plenty of dismemberment and decapitation. The PS3/360 versions of NG3 didn't have either, making Razor's Edge a return to series' tradition. Team Ninja is pretty much treating Razor's Edge as a do-over. NG3 was trashed by critics and fans alike so Edge is the dev team's chance to set things right. They're adding new content like a co-op mode, touchscreen controls and character progression. They're also trying to iron out some of the PS3/360 bugs, such as poor AI. Razor's Edge will launch alongside the Wii U this fall. There's a lot of skepticism surrounding both the Wii U and a port of Ninja Gaiden 3, but perhaps this game can prove doubters wrong on both fronts. Back to top
