Nvidia Powers-Up BlizzCon 2011 With GTX Demo Rigs

published: 2011-10-20 19:57:48
ATI may be considered as the more stable GPU manufacturer out there, but we all know that if you want an over-clocking, high-end, bad-mofo of a video card, you’ll want an Nvidia GTX. Those planning on attending BlizzCon will be able to get first-hand demonstrations of upcoming and currently released Blizzard games running on the latest Nvidia GTX brand GPUs.

As stated in the news announcement…
“Just about everywhere you look at BlizzCon you’ll find NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPU-equipped PCs powering your favorite Blizzard games. From the NVIDIA booth (Booth #308 – Hall C) to the GeForce LAN to demo systems covering the show floor, NVIDIA is providing more than 1,000 GeForce GTX graphics cards to demonstrate the unparalleled experience of playing Blizzard games on a GeForce GTX-equipped PC.”

I was really curious which versions of the Nvidia GTX they would be equipping the PCs with. I guess it really doesn’t matter, but I’m going to take a wild guess and assume they’re GTX 460s or maybe GTX 560 Ti’s.

For gamers who really want an intense, up-to-the-minute play-by-play of all things BlizzCon, there’s a new phone App available to detail all things BlizzCon over at the App Store and Android Market.

You can check a list of the Nvidia sponsored gear that will be available and on display at this year’s event. Check it out below. The BlizzCon will take place between October 21st and October 22nd. Need more info? Visit the Official Website.
