Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD Dated For PSN

Today Just Add Water announced the release date for their remake of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Stranger's Wrath HD will be arriving on PSN in North America on December 27th. It's priced at $14.99.

In Wrath, players take on the role of a bounty hunter. They must hunt down criminals in order to pay for a life-saving operation. His main weapon is a crossbow that can use live creatures as ammunition.

Wrath HD features high resolution textures and higher polygon counts. It runs at 60 frames per second and in widescreen. It also supports Dolby surround sound. Additional features include adjustable difficulty and Trophy support.

"We had planned on shipping with support for stereoscopic 3D and PlayStation Move and a few other little things, due to time limits we are not able to bring those features in this initial version," said Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray on PlayStation.Blog. "However we WILL be bringing them in an update in a couple months’ time, along with some other little extras we’ve got planned."

Just Add Water plans to release Wrath worldwide. The only territories not slated to get the game are the Far East/Russia/Ukraine and Portugal.
