Steam isn’t the only digital service that can offer next-to-nothing prices and deals on old, new and popular games alike. OnLive has announced that their usual $5 Friday will be extended to run all week long, with a different game each day getting the $5 treatment.

For those of you who don’t know, OnLive is a cloud-based gaming system that enables gamers to play some of their favorite games without any additional hardware if you’re playing via PC or laptop. Alternatively you can purchase the cheap OnLive game console that will allow you to play the game from the comfort of your couch just as you would the Xbox 360 or PS3. You will need, however, a 3MBPs or higher connection to make it work.

You can connect with friends, watch game matches, play multiplayer games or check out demos and videos of some of the latest and upcoming titles. You can sign up for OnLive for free or check out some of their play packages to see if there’s anything that suits your gaming habits.
