Orbitor, Space-Arcade Game Travels To Kickstarter
Evil Aliens' indie project is a weird one to put into words. While it might seem easy to describe it as an arcade-based space exploration title, it's not quite as simple as that. The game has an interesting almost Geometry Wars vibe about it fused with Flow, and the developers are looking for a little funding to finish the project via Kickstarter.
I obviously wasn't the only one who was absolutely confused about the actual gameplay in Orbitor and Evil Aliens decided to release a walkthrough video detailing how the game is actually played and what players actually do. Check it out below.
After that lengthy explanation I can now see how the game could be quite fun. The simplistic arcade mechanics fused with the sort of break-neck speed point-to-point gameplay is a nice touch. Whether that's enough to convince people to contribute what they can so the game can hit the $60,000 Kickstarter goal is a whole other story.
If the game looks like something you would want to play at some point in your life then feel free to contribute to the Kickstarter on the official page. Alternatively, if money is tight but you still want to support the game there's also the option to upvote the project on Steam's Greeenlight page.
