Of Orcs And Men Picked Up For Distribution By Warner Bros

Warner Bros. Interactive has really been stepping it up lately. From the highly lauded Batman: Arkham games to Mortal Kombat, they're quickly becoming an AAA publisher to be reckoned with. Their latest title is very dark and very intriguing stealth-RPG, Of Orcs and Men from Cyanide Studios.

Here at Gaming Blend we've had quite a bit of praise to shed on this grim looking, character driven, story-oriented tale about two orcs who journey to save their race from the onslaught of mankind. It's a bit of a twist on the age-old tale of saving one's race, because this time instead of playing humans out to slaughter countless orcs, gamers will assume the role of two orcs who must slaughter countless humans in a perilous journey of survival.

Kevin Kebodeaux, Senior Vice President, Sales, Americas, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment shared a brief comment about the partnership, saying...

“We are very pleased to partner with Cyanide to distribute Of Orcs and Men,” ... “The distribution of this strong fantasy title will make a great addition to our fall line-up of games.”

Cyanide Studios has had a rocky time, hopping from indie-type games like Pro Cycling Manager to games like Blood Bowl, which gathered quite a following, and then they had the not-so-well-received recent RPG, Game of Thrones. It's quite a toss up whether Of Orcs and Men will be Blood Bowl good or Game of Thrones bad. Still, I at least have to give them props for doing something different.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will distribute the game in North America this fall for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It's a unique RPG that's definitely worth keeping an eye on.
