Painkiller: Hell and Damnation, the remake of the 2004 first-person shooter, is now available on the PC. Gamers who purchase the game early will be able to get free holiday-themed DLC for the game.
In Painkiller, players must gun down endless hordes of demons and other Hellish minions. They'll have numerous over-the-top weapons at their disposal, such as a soul-sucking gun and a stakethrower. The remake introduces HD graphics as well as new game modes. The added modes include an eight-player survival experience, in which you and friends must fight off waves upon waves of enemies. If you pre-ordered the game or buy it today, you'll get exclusive Halloween DLC. This DLC pack adds a new map featuring Pumpkinhead Ghostriders, a deadly carousel, and lollipops. Journeying through this map will give you the opportunity to earn a new Achievement.
Hell and Damnation is available in Standard and Collector's Editions, priced at $19.99 and $29.99 respectively. The CE includes postcards, stickers, a ten-track soundtrack, making-of DVD, single-player power-up, and multiplayer skin. A poster comes with both the Standard and Collector's Editions. PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be out on January 22nd. Back to top
