Penny Arcade 3 Now On Mac, iOS And Android

If you still haven't caught up on the third game in the Penny Arcade series (or have never played any of the games and just want to jump in now because, you know, they aren't exactly proper “sequels” or anything), then you might be pleased to learn that On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 is now available on Mac, iOS and Android devices.

Released earlier this year onto Steam for PC and Xbox Live Indie Games, this latest nod to all things classic RPG sees the Penny Arcade heroes doing what they do best: Battling evil one quip at a time. And when I say “classic RPG,” I'm taking 8-bit era. The battle system is turn-based, the world is top-down and the sounds effects are full of lovely beeps and boops.

Already a big hit on the Xbox and PC, now gamers on the go, as well as those tethered to a Mac, can get in on all of the hilarious adventuring, too. As Indie Games is reporting, The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 can now be found on Google Play for $2.99, on iTunes for your various iDevices for $2.99 and on iTunes for Mac for $4.99.

No matter where you get it, though, you'll also be nabbing yourself the new, and free, Lair of the Seamstress DLC. This add-on offers a new dungeon and, we're assuming, even more tongue-in-cheek references to the world of video games and pop culture.
