Bugbear Entertainment, the same minds behind the original Flatout games for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, have decided to step back into the limelight and create a dynamic new physics-based racing title, presumably for next-gen consoles and PC.
Blues News picked up on the announcement from BugBear, who stated that... Best known for our critically acclaimed, multi-million selling “FlatOut” series (FlatOut, FlatOut 2, FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage), team Bugbear is going to deliver the definitive demolition derby racing game. Yeah I concur. Bugbear didn't just drop some hints about their new game, they dropped a wicked new trailer showcasing some high-fidelity car physics being totally destroyed in an arena. Check it out below. I don't know how well this will work out, focusing a game around the entirety of a destruction derby, but Bugbear has done it before so I trust they'll be able to do it again. Right now they're just getting the word out there and letting gamers know that they're aiming to dive head-first into the niche genre once again.
