Pokemon Black 2 And White 2 Gets Its First English Gameplay Trailer

If you're the sort of person who yells "Speak American!" at foreigners, you'll be pleased by the latest trailer for Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. Unlike previous gameplay videos for the DS games, this one is completely in English.

There's no voiceover in the trailer, just text dialogue. At one point someone asks the main character whether he's a boy or girl. If they said that in Japanese, you'd be completely unaware of this insult.

Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 take place two years after the preceding games. Players will travel to new cities, challenge new rivals, and - of course - collect new creatures. The Pokemon World Tournament feature will allow players to test their skills against trainers from previous games.

The paired games launch in Japan today. North America and Europe will have to wait until the fall.
