Resident Evil 6 Trailer Abandons All Hope

Resident Evil 6 won't be out for a few weeks but that hasn't stopped Capcom from releasing a pseudo-launch trailer for the survival horror game. The trailer shows off the three campaigns at the heart of RE6.

In this game, a new virus is spreading throughout the globe. Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield and newcomer Jake Muller battle the infected on different parts of the globe. Each has their own unique companion character that can be controlled by a second player. The three campaigns have an interconnected story and can be played in any order.

Once you complete these three campaigns, a fourth will be unlocked. The secret campaign stars Ada Wong. Unlike the other protagonists, Wong won't have any back-up on her mission.

RE6 will launch on October 2nd. Although this video feels like a launch trailer, I doubt it's the last video Capcom will release.
