Deep Silver released two new trailers for the upcoming Risen, which is due out on October 2nd for the Xbox 360 and PC. The game is very much like the highly celebrated Gothic series, but that’s mainly because it’s designed by the same developers, Piranha Bytes.

The two new teaser trailers are just that…teasers. They don’t show off any of the gorgeous environments in the game or the dense population occupying the cities, nor the combat or magic attacks in the game. That doesn’t mean they aren’t worth watching, because anyone interested in an open-world action-RPG like Oblivion will definitely want to check into this game.
