First-person platformer Mirror's Edge did not lives up to sales expectations on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Hoping to find an audience, EA (allegedly) explored the possibility of porting the game to other systems as well.

According to Unseen64, EA asked Backbone Entertainment to produce a short demo for a Wii version. They considered making PSP and DS versions at one time as well as well.

EA's other big IP from last holiday season, Dead Space, is coming to the Wii this fall so it seems likely they'd consider taking a similar approach with Mirror. It's not clear whether these plans will bear any fruit but Backbone did at least produce some concept art for a Wii version. Check 'em out below.
