While Rockstar tries to make games that speak about social commentaries, immigration, racial oppression and stereotypes, it looks like Volition is poking fun at them in the most ridiculous ways possible by showing off a trailer that does nothing more than aim to garner laughs in the most juvenile ways imaginable. The last part about “Why they make the black dude do this?” just adds to the hilarity.

If you’re not sure what to make of the trailer below, it’s okay that’s just how it is. Saints Row: The Third isn’t trying to say anything at all other than that it’s the most ridiculous open-world game ever. The zombies they're showing off are part of a returning mini-game that appeared in Saints Row 2 where players fought off wave after wave of increasingly difficult zombies. The purple dildo is a weapon in case you were wondering (it's actually an over the top homage to GTA: San Andreas who introduced gamers to the purple dildo weapon) and the bathrobe...well, I guess it is what it is.





I think it’s safe to say that if Grand Theft Auto is like The Simpsons, then Saints Row is like South Park. Both games are absurdly over the top but Saints Row just goes a step further to make you realize that it’s a nihilistic romp of epic proportions.
