Forget 12 minute Metal Gear Solid trailers, or the wonderful videos for Halo 3 last year. The ultimate in video game trailers has arrived, and it so wonderfully quirky and intoxicating that you’ll be dancing for hours after seeing it. This is the trailer for Samba de Amigo for the Nintendo Wii, and it is every bit as awesome as you hoped. Unfortunately it is an MTV Multiplayer exclusive at the moment, which means our friends in Canada and overseas will not be able to see it.

It’s not really something that can be described using words. It truly is a “you just have to see it” type thing. But if I had to try and make comparisons I’d say it has a bit of the “Move Your Feet” music video feel mixed in with some Wiggles creepy crazy spectacularness. Even that is not even close to what you’ll see when this thing loads up. But I can guarantee you’ll enjoy the hell out of it. Now let’s hope the maraca shaking gameplay holds up. Please SEGA, deliver unto us some great gaming…it’s been too long.
