The Secret World Cutting Deeper Update Trailer Released

Tomorrow Funcom will release the second major update for supernatural MMO The Secret World. The patch, dubbed "Issue #2: Cutting Deeper," is detailed in a new gameplay video.

The update's name seems to be based on the new customization features it includes. Players will be able to visit a plastic surgeon to alter their character's appearance. If they're looking to make less drastic changes, they can stop by the new barber.

"Cutting Deeper" also includes a load of gameplay content. Players can look forward to brand new missions and significant changes to Lairs. The update provides a Group Finder tool so players can more easily find teammates for more challenging content, too. The introduction of Rocket Launchers, the first type of auxiliary weapons, are the cherry on the sundae.

Funcom originally planned to release this update last month. However, they were forced to delay it due to layoffs. The downsizing was a result of slower-than-expected sales for Secret.
