Funcom and EA released a new trailer for the upcoming MMORPG, The Secret World. The new teaser trailer for the game is basically a collage of cinematics and a few new gameplay snippets put together to show off the hidden yet powerful faction, the Illuminati.

If you're unfamiliar with the Illuminati they supposedly help people like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Kanye West become and stay popular with ridiculous soul-stealing deals or whatnot. In The Secret World the Illuminati is one of three factions that also promises players a lot of powerful and control but not first before doing some of their dirty work. The Illuminati in The Secret World is located in New York but players will travel all over the world completing quests for the mega-order.



I don't know about anyone else but does the Illuminati in the game kind of remind you of a MI6 meets Nazi-regime sort of organization? Anyway, I really like their coats.

You can sign-up right now to participate in the on-going Secret World closed beta, where you can test out the game's combat and traveling mechanics, the create-a-character as well as the PvP.
