TimeGate Studios has left behind SouthPeak Games and decided to do things their own way, and that includes not screwing over gamers with false news, mismatched release dates for multiplatform releases or failing to let people know that one console just wasn’t going to be receiving a specific game at all. Thankfully, on their own, TimeGate has focused on Section 8: Prejudice being a multiplatform release from day-one as well as being a budget-priced title at that.
Adel Chaveleh, CEO of TimeGate Studios commented in the press release about the upcoming release of the game, saying… “We’re challenging the notion of just how much quality and value we can pack into a digital download first-person shooter ,” ... “Our target is very simply to be the highest quality, best value digital FPS on the market. Prejudice is a full-retail-scoped product, so I’m sure our fans will be very happy with our price-point decision.”The game contains a brand new five-hour single-player campaign, a new four-player cooperative survival mode and objective mode, as well as support for up to 32-players in intense deathmatch gameplay. I don’t know about anyone else but that’s almost more than what we get in some $60 games pretending to be triple-A titles. Another cool thing is the added RPG elements, the new melee combat stealth attacks and weapons. XBLA Fans had some hands-on time with the game and explain what gamers can look forward to when it launches in early 2011.
