The Spike Video Game Awards unveiled a flurry of new trailers. Somewhere in between these trailers, a bunch of celebrities showed up and passed out awards. They even let Charlie Sheen come. Do you care? Should you? Complicated questions.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim took three awards in total, including Game of the Year. Portal 2 won five and swept the voice acting categories, with both Stephen Merchant and Ellen McLain receiving honors for their performances. Batman: Arkham City nabbed four. The Joker won Character of the Year, which is a bit weird considering the Joker is decades-old. But whatever, it was an event with Charlie Sheen and Hulk Hogan - weirdness is to be expected.
