Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time Vita Gameplay Footage Released

Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time, the first game in the series to debut first on the PS3, will also be released simultaneously on the Vita. In a new video, Sony showed off gameplay footage of the handheld edition.

In the video, Sanzaru Games head Glen Egan hinted at a few unique versions for the Vita version. Sly will utilize that device's front and rear touchscreens. The motion sensing technology of the Vita provides additional control options for players as well.

"There's a lot more features we're going to be taking advantage of, there's a lot more gameplay we've got to talk about, but right now we just want to get it out there that Sly's going to be available on the Vita day and date with the PS3 version this fall," said Egan.

Sanzaru still has plenty of time to talk up the Vita edition. I'm not convinced yet that it would be a better choice than the PS3 edition. I'm open to any future pitches, though.
