Sony Online Entertainment's various multiplayer games, which include <>DC Universe Online and EverQuest, are still offline. When SOE finally relaunches them, though, they'll be showering players with free stuff.
All players affected by the outage will get 30 days of game time added to their account, along with an extra day for each day the system is done. Depending on what SOE game you play, you might also have some in-game events and items to look forward to. Here's what SOE's got planned for each game:
DC Universe Online: Batman and Two-Face Inspired Masks and 30 Marks of Distinction
Free Realms: Free daily items (7 to collect)
Clone Wars Adventures: Count Dooku v2 Outfit
EverQuest: A series of events, including Double XP, Double Rare Mob Spawns and Double Faction Gains
EverQuest II and EverQuest II Extended: A series of events, including Double XP, Double Guild XP, Loot Bonanza, and City Festivals
Vanguard: Saga of Heroes: A series of Double XP events
Star Wars Galaxies: Bounty Hunter Statue, a miniature model of Boba Fett's ship, the Slave I™
Magic: The Gathering - Tactics: Four of each of these spells: "Ivory Mask", "Duress" and "Angelheart Vial", plus 500 Station Cash
PoxNora: Limited edition Carrionling, Welcome Back 5K Gold Award Tournaments and two Draft Tournaments, plus 500 Station Cash
Station Access subscribers will get 500 Station Cash. Lifetime subscribers in certain games will get also get a helping of in-game currency. Free Realms, Clone Wars Adventures, and DC Universe Online will get 20,000 coins, 7,500 Galactic Credits and 10 Marks of Distinction.
SOE also plans to give U.S. Station Account holders a complimentary enrollment in Debix's identity theft protection. It's the same package Sony is offering to PSN owners.
