Gamers who may not have been all too pleased with Cyberstep’s Splash Fighters can take note that the game is undergoing some serious changes to accommodate new and old players. The new update features a jungle rumble, a new character archetype, new maps, new modes and anything else you can think to attach "new" in front of.

The game hasn’t just undergone the “new” effect (viz., you know where the developers toss in a whole bunch of new content while leaving the game broken) a lot of the functions and features of the game’s general navigation and aesthetic have also been overhauled. The menus have been updated; new resolutions have been added; the character customization screen has been improved; new items and styles for the characters have also been added.

In addition to all this, a new 8-player scenario called Jungle Rumble has made the cut, featuring some nifty in-map toys to exploit for victory and a few other goodies you’ll have to check out for yourself to see. The Gemini Style has also been added for male Future Wrestler, which looks like something SNK and Capcom came up with for a fighting game you’ll never get to play.
