Ubisoft and GameStop are teaming up to promote Splinter Cell: Blacklist. This month they're giving select GameStop customers the chance to appear in the upcoming stealth game.
GameStop PowerUp Rewards members will have a chance to win whenever they make a purchase or trade-in using their PowerUp Rewards card. Transactions through GameStop stores and GameStop.com both count. You just need to make sure you make at least one trade-in or purchase during June.
The one winner will get a free trip to Ubisoft Toronto to meet the development team. You'll say something stupid like, "Hey I really like Splinter Cell!" and they'll be all like, "Us too!" After your witty banter, they'll record your likeness for use in Blacklist.
There's no mention of what kind of character your face will be used for. Presumably you'll be some random Fourth Echelon agent that helps Fisher on his mission. Or you'll be an international terrorist whose neck Fisher snaps. Or you'll be a random shopkeeper gunned down by terrorist. Ubisoft will probably make a snap decision depending on what you look like.
For the official rules of the contest, head here. Blacklist, announced last week at E3, is slated for a Spring 2013 release on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
