Each Monday EA Sports has been releasing a new trailer for the upcoming SSX spotlighting different characters and highlighting different downhill events, tricks, stunts and courses. Today's trailer features the out-going female snowboarder, Kaori.

While some gamers may have complained that SSX -- formerly known as Deadly Descent -- was too dark and brooding for the series and that perhaps the overtly-serious tone would strip away much of what fans loved about the original, EA has come around to actually showing off a lot of fun-loving, brightly-lit gameplay segments. The over-the-top tricks, original characters and crazy gaps are all still present, as showcased in the trailer below.



SSX certainly doesn't look groundbreaking, but with the online multiplayer ghosting features, massive downhill mountains to scale and over-the-top tricks to perform, anyone who has desperately been craving a fun-filled snowboarding game will probably want to keep an eye on SSX.
