Barbily announced today that their space-strategy game, Star Supremacy, has finally launched on Facebook. The game brings all the intense, online competitive space drama and places it right at the comfort and convenience of your very own Facebook account.

Several GM-ran events will also get underway to help promote the game's transition over onto to Facebook, with a handful of colonies chock full of resources just waiting and willing to be ravaged by some big, hungry space cruisers. However, players will need specific coordinates to get to these colonies and they will only be available on the Official Star Supremacy Facebook Page.

Every couple thousand Likes on Facebook will also trigger a contest for Star Supremacy players, enabling them to win things like a brand new Ear Force X11 headset or in-game cash shop items.
