The Domaginarium released a new gameplay for version 2.0 of their isometric, 3D arcade-shooter, Steroids. The game -- unlike the testosterone enhancing drug -- is all about shooting things until they die and the trailer does a pretty good job of drilling that point home.
The new trailer actually arrives to help promote then new feature called the Speeding Bullet game mode, in which every time a player shoots an enemy they speed up as they get closer to death. As you can imagine, the more you shoot and the more you kill and the harder the game becomes. Now that's a bit innovative. You can grab a glimpse of the new gameplay mechanic in the trailer below.
The video -- minus the retro arcade music motif -- really did remind me of the old PS1 title Loaded. It has a very similar look and feel to the aforementioned classic arcade shooter, just without all the blood and gore messing up the environments.
If Steroids seems like your kind of game you can learn more by paying a visit to the game's Official Website or even grabbing a free demo to see if the gameplay suits your tastes in isometric arcade shooters.
