Super TIME Force Trailer Goads Kids To Kill Themselves And Try Again

The upcoming game, Super T.I.M.E. Force for the Xbox Live Arcade is a throwback to the 8-bit, hard-as-nails NES era of gaming. To help promote the game's release a new trailer was released featuring an animated clip of the gang from Super T.I.M.E. Force giving some unhealthy advice to kids about life and death.

The trailer is more like a parody of all those TV shows from the 1990s about teamwork, life lessons and having a multi-racial group of do-gooders saving the Earth from all kinds of peril and evil. While at first the trailer just seems cheesy and silly, it eventually takes on a Funny or Die mentality and well... you'll just have to see it for yourself.

The game looks wicked fun, but the thematic presentation of the game is what sells it best. It reminded me of the parody cartoons from Grand Theft Auto IV, just a little less over-the-top.

Even though the game itself was more of a byproduct of the Adult Swim-esque comedy, the retro redo of the side-scrolling era for the Xbox Live Arcade brings gamers ramped up difficulty that would make Treasure Studios' Yoshiyuki Matsumoto and Konami's Nobuya Nakazato smile with glee.

Gamers looking for a bit of a challenge back in their interactive entertainment endeavors, then Super T.I.M.E. Force might be a game worth keeping an eye on.

Capybara Games' 8-bit style side-scroller is set for release in 2013 for the Xbox Live Arcade. Need more info? Don't go to the official Super T.I.M.E. Force website, instead be sure to check out Capybara's Official Website.
