S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Animation Video Surfaces?

GSC Game World is still hard at work on the upcoming S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and new video animations have surfaced which look pretty irrefutable. You can check them out right here.

The video comes courtesy of GameRanx who picked up on the brief snippet of animations featuring a Bloodsucker and a Stalker performing some basic animations and poses. You can check out the video below featuring some intense techno-electronic, euro-dance music.



GSC Game World was originally thought to be in financial trouble late last year but that wasn't true. They're actually doing quite well and the "closure" they were talking about was closing up their old studio and moving into a bigger one.

Anyways, my only reservation about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is that the game is being developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and there's really no telling exactly how much the multiplatform development will affect the overall design architecture of the game or it's A-Life ecosystem.

On the plus side, at least console gamers will be able to experience S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 later this year. We'll be sure to keep you posted on additional news and updates regarding the game as they become available.
