Team Fortress 2 Honors MineCraft Designer

Mojang founder and MineCraft designer Markus "Notch" Persson is a big fan of Team Fortress 2. He claims he's sunk hundreds of hours into the game and Valve has shown their appreciation by giving him an exclusive hat for the game.

The hat, called The Top Notch, is a cardboard box with a fedora on top of it. It looks like a cross between Persson's avatar and the blockish, low-res graphics of MineCraft. Persson is the only one with access to this hat.

"You wouldn’t believe the amount of medic I get now. Also, spies," said Persson on his blog.

Team Fortress 2 went free-to-play in June. You can start playing on the PC or Mac by visiting Steam.
