Tecmo Koei Puts On Fighting Gloves For E3 2012 Line-Up

Tecmo Koei has plans to make a big KO at this year's upcoming E3, which is set to get underway with Microsoft's press conference next Monday. Tecmo Koei on the other hand will be presenting games on the show floor, as well as hosting tournaments for the Fighting Game Community who plans on attending this year's epic tradeshow.

Amos Ip, SVP and General Manager of TECMO KOEI America commented in the press release, saying...

“TECMO KOEI America has a knockout E3 lineup led by an in-depth showcase of DEAD OR ALIVE 5, the new generation of action fighting games,” ... “This year’s booth will highlight not only the best new games but the kickoff of a series of spectacular events we’re hosting, the DEAD OR ALIVE 5 gaming tournament that spotlights the fighting skills of the best players in the world.”

First up, Tecmo Koei will be showing off games such as Pokemon Conquest on the Nintendo DS, which is a family title that sees warlords and Pokemon clashing in the ultimate battle contest.

Another game on the Tecmo Koei list is Mugen Souls for the PlayStation 3, an RPG where players assume the role of goddess Chou Chou and they must use peons to battle against demon lords, bandits and even legendary heroes in a quest to conquer the world. The game is scheduled to launch this September and will be published by NIS America when it ships stateside.

The real meat and potatoes of Tecmo's line-up is Dead or Alive 5, which is their flagship title for E3 2012. Not only will hands-on demos be available at the tradeshow, for show goers to experience first-hand, but there will also be a full-fledged series of tournament events with the details below.
