Tekken Tag 2 New Console Characters Revealed

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was quite popular over in Japan, and Namco seen enough success to want to port the game over to home consoles this fall. In addition to arriving on consoles, the game will also receive additional console exclusives, which were revealed in a brand new trailer.

The extra characters appearing on the console version of the game will be Michelle Williams, Ancient Ogre, Kunimitsu and Angel. I think out of them all, Kunimitsu is a pleasant surprise but Angel looks really good. The team did a fantastic job recreating this classic character for the current generation era. Funnily enough YouTube commenters were already coming up with dream matches between these recently announced characters, and of course, most people want to reunite Michelle and Julia for one kick-butt, Indian-American team.

It's also pretty neat because you'll able to modify and customize these classic characters giving them all sorts of neat clothing and accessories, as well as additional usable weapons.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will have more than 50 characters, pair-play, tag-modes, scramble modes and more when it releases this September for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
