The First Templar: The Great Hero Trailer For Xbox 360 And PC

The little thumbnail image for this story might lead people to believe that this is an Assassin’s Creed knockoff game with gut-wrenching chases across rooftops and heart-stopping moments propelled by free-falling off a high building. Well, that description couldn’t be further from the truth. The First Templar is a grounded hack and slash title and the new trailer sets the stage for what gamers can expect from this Crusader sword-and-board game.

Haemimont Games is currently hard at work on the Xbox 360/PC only title and the late 13th century, post-dark age adventure title has something to do with the Holy Grail, conspiracies and coming back from the dead. Just, you know, the typical day in the life of a Templar.

You can check out the new trailer for the game below, which isn’t entirely impressive but at least it isn’t another Linkin Park-inspired first-person military shooter set in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Aurubistan, CarpetStain or whatever.
