Tomb Raider Reborn Trailer Discusses Lara's Return

Next week, Tomb Raider will hit PS3's, Xbox 360's and PC's throughout the world. Square Enix issued a new trailer today entitled "Reborn" that looks at Lara's return to gaming.

Tomb Raider is a reboot of the long-running series. Lara Croft is no longer the hardened treasure hunter that she was in previous games. Instead, she's a fresh-faced academy graduate who finds herself shipwrecked on a hostile island.

The game focuses on Lara's development into the bad-ass she was in other games. She might start out the game as a shipwrecked youth just trying to survive. However, by the end, she's taking on an army of salvagers.

Thus far, the reviews for Lara's return have been overwhelmingly positive.
