If the Comic Con weekend had you all befuddled and slightly off your rocker and you forgot about some important summertime DLC, then fear not for Activision has sent out a few reminders about the Transformers: War for Cybertron DLC, which features some snazzy new characters and multiplayer maps.

David Pokress, Head of Marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing, shed a few words regarding the new content pack, saying…

“The fans have spoken and the response to Transformers: War for Cybertron has been colossal,” …. “Our number one goal since the launch of the game has been to support the rapidly-growing online community, and we recognize the need for these characters and maps to continue the blistering multiplayer gameplay they have come to know and love.”

New playable characters Scattershot, Jazz, Onslaught, Shockwave and Demolisher join the fray along with four new maps have been added to the game’s cache, including two new Escalation co-op maps and two new deathmatch maps.

The new DLC is available now for the Xbox 360 for only 800 MS Points while it’s available for the PS3 for only $9.99.
