If you enjoyed pelting your opponents with blindingly fast bullets in the game Tribes: Ascend, those hitscan damage-dealing weapons will have their ordinance replaced with projectile-based bullets instead.
Hi-Rez Studios is constantly finding ways to improve and enhance their fast-and-furious online FPS, Tribes: Ascend. The latest patch for the closed beta introduces various additional changes to the gameplay, including the replacement of hitscan weapon fire with projectile-based weapon fire for the Ranger’s Assault Rifle, Technician’s TCN4, and Infiltrator’s Rhino SMG. Additional changes and features also includes the option to vote-kick players, so if someone is being an annoying douche who won't help out or purposefully keeps trolling teammates, you can knock his butt back to the stone age with a nice little vote kick. Tribes: Ascend is a pretty intense game and can be quite fun, especially with the ability to jet-ski around stages and lob grenades at people while moving as fast as a convertible Corvette. Multiple classes, unlocks, and weapon upgrades also help fill out the game's features. You can check out all the changes made to Tribes: Ascend in the patch notes or visit the Official Website to sign up to participate in the beta. |
