A new developer documentary was released for TRON Evolution along with news about Gunnar Optiks joining in on the 3D craze that TRON will inevitably invoke amongst the public, just like Avatar did with its 3D-ness.
First and foremost, anyone planning on seeing the movie will be able to get a boost of 3D visual enhancement, because Gunnar will be providing their polarized 3D glasses at select theatres showing TRON Legacy in 3D. As stated in the press release… In support of the film's release on December 17th, GUNNAR will be offering a "TRON: Legacy" movie ticket with the purchase of its first-to-market 3D eyewear collection. As for the developer documentary…it goes over the enhanced features of the gameplay, including the Capoeira-inspired light-disc combat and the parkour-inspired wall running. I’ll probably be one of the first to say that none of it really feels like the Tron we were introduced to way back in the day. And I could be wrong, but this new TRON feels more like a new-age gimmick to milk an old franchise. Anyway, you can check out the new dev doc below. TRON: Evolution is due out for major game consoles on December 7th, just ahead of the of the December 17th release of the film. You can learn more about the game by visiting the Official Website.
