Do you enjoy breaking the law? How about taking stuff that doesn't belong to you? If you enjoy the life of being a pirate, scavenging for goods and engaging in all sorts of nefarious activity, then you'll enjoy the latest DLC for Kalypso's Tropico 4 called Pirate Heaven, where you get to fulfill your long-lost dream of becoming a full fledged diplomatic pirate. Lucky for you, the DLC has officially launched today for the cheap, cheap price of $4.99.
In the game, players take on the role of El Presidente, managing the growth (or failure) of the small island of Tropico. You'll be tasked with growing your country industrially, economically and civilly. Alternatively, there's always the option of turning the tropical island into a military state aimed at world dominance. The choice is yours. As stated in the press release... As part of the new DLC, your minions will now be able to resort to piracy as a way of making quick money, though all that ship hijacking, ransoming, pillaging and plundering is sure to attract international attention (and ire), so you'll need to build up your defenses to protect Tropico from invasion! Last but never least; players can dress up their female avatars with the new "Pirate Queen" outfit, giving just a bit more flair to your in-game persona. Looking fashionably spiffy while running a country? Well, I guess Gaddafi won't be the only fashion queen to have ruled with an iron fist. The news about the DLC launching also comes jam packed with some gorgeously snapped in-game shots that you can view below. The Pirate Heaven content is available right now for PC and if you're keen getting a hold of the content for the Xbox 360 version, fear not for it will launch just before 2012 is out for Microsoft's home console.
