The RTS game from Blue Giant Interactive is now available for PC gamers the world around via Valve's digital distribution service, Steam. Carrying a $24.99 price tag and enabling players to enjoy some intense story campaigns, some kickbutt multiplayer and plenty of special skills and traits in between, Tryst seems to be a mid-budget RTS for gamers looking for a little something-something while they wait for the next StarCraft II campaign.
Tryst sees players take the role of humans trying to take over a mining sector while rivaling the local natives for the same resources. It's like Avatar except the aliens have the ability to fight back and aren't Pocahontas wannabes. Yeap, these aliens know how to work their hardware. The game's prime focus is on utilizing each team members special traits to overcome the odds. The fog of war keeps players in the dark as they try to put together a strategy to overtake the enemy or use stealth to scout the area. It's a real thinking man's game. To top off the story elements is a robust multiplayer mode for up to eight players. You can join your friends and battle it out using wits and tactics, and if one player can't quite muster their presence, the AI can take over. You can pick up a copy of Tryst right now or learn more about the game by paying a visit to the Official Website. Back to top
