THQ and Zuffa won't be picking the cover athlete for UFC Undisputed 3. Instead, they're going to let fans choose from five UFC fights.
Gamers can choose UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones or UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez as their cover athlete of choice. You can vote at the game's official website. Voting is open now and will close at 12 PM PST on September 30th. "We are excited to let fans choose the cover athlete for UFC Undisputed 3," UFC President Dana White said. "Frankie, Georges, Anderson, Jon, and Cain are five of the most popular athletes in our sport and each wants to be on the cover. We love making our fans a part of the process and we'll leave this one up to them." If you cast a vote, you'll also have an opportunity to enter a sweepstakes for tickets to UFC 137 in Las Vegas. The sweepstakes is only open to residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec). You'll need to be 21 years or older. You're limited to one entry per person/e-mail address. Additional fine print can be found at the game's website. UFC Undisputed is in development at Yuke's for the Xbox 360 and PS3. It will be released in January. The series took off a year in 2011, so there hasn't been a new UFC game since May 2010. Back to top
