The Walking Dead Episode Two Video Discusses Consequences

Telltale Games showed off Episode Two of their adventure game The Walking Dead at E3. In a new video interview, Telltale Games' Richard Iggo talked about how your choices in the first episode will affect this latest installment. Be warned that the video has a few big spoilers from Episode One.

Episode One presented some pretty obvious story branches. For example, you could choose to save Carly or Doug in one scene. The result is that in later episodes, you won't have access to the fallen character's unique skills.

However, not every decision will have such obvious consequences. Iggo said that they want to make sure that every decision, big or small, colors your experience in some way.

"We want you to make that decision and then live with it," Iggo said.

It was tough to gauge the branching story of this series just from Episode One. I'm hoping that player decisions really do result in big changes in the storyline down the road and significantly different endings. In other words, Walking Dead better be a lot different from Mass Effect 3's conclusion, which funneled players into three choices and disregarded every other decision they made before that.

Telltale is hoping to release Episode Two by the end of June.
