We're Giving Away PlayStation Home Dr. Who Wave One Bundles!
The Dr. Who Wave One PlayStation Home bundle from Loot went live late last month and, now that we've had a chance to dress up like a Silence, goof off in the Tardis and get lost in its many winding corridors, we're ready to give away a couple of bundles (and a couple of additional goodies, too) to some of our lucky readers.
Once you download the Wave One bundle, the first thing you'll notice is that your PlayStation Home avatar now has access to a couple of new costumes. Guys can don the suit of the 11th Doctor, complete with a cool bow-tie, or one of the creepy, sharp-dressed Silence. The ladies have access to a couple of new outfits, too, including one for River Song and another for the barbarian lizard race, the Silurian. No matter what you're wearing, though, you'll also have access to an adorable mechanical Cybermat to follow you around all of the Home spaces.
But what good is looking like the Doctor if you can't live it up like the Doctor? Thankfully, the Wave One bundle also comes with your very own Tardis personal space. Perhaps the coolest feature here is that you can place the blue police box within any of your other personal spaces as if it's a regular piece of decoration. If you walk up to it and select it, however, you'll be transported inside. And, yes, it's much bigger on the inside.
Within the Tardis you'll find the 11th Doctor's console, complete with a Loot Entertainment on Demand screen. Other areas include access to the space under the console, a giant white space you can decorate for filming, a labyrinth of halls featuring various types of lighting (solid, dark and flickering), a central hub connecting all of the hallways, and even a giant movie theater.
Within the theater you can watch clips from various seasons of Dr. Who, or gain access to the usual Loot EOD offerings including content from Revision3, Fuel TV, free movies, live events and more. Or you could always show off your own latest creation, which you can film with the bundles included Loot camera.
Basically, this one bundle makes all of your Dr. Who dreams become a reality and, this being “Wave One,” it sounds like we can expect even more wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey goodness coming down the pipeline.
But why take our word for it when you can try it out for yourself? It's a simple process. Just follow Gaming Blend on Facebook and be sure to check back frequently throughout the day Monday. We'll be posting codes for two Dr. Who bundles from Loot sometime throughout the day on a first come, first serve basis. If you miss out on the Dr. Who content, there's always a chance you might swipe one of our other Loot Home givaways. They've provided us with an additional code for a Forsaken Planet Companions and Costumes bundle, as well as a Loot Radios bundle that lets you play music from any of your personal Home spaces.
Good luck and alons-y!
