Digital game store Good Old Games is holding a sale on all the Atari-published games in its inventory. For the next few days, you can pick up any of these 20 titles at a 50% discount.
"Get a half-off on The Witcher: Enhanced Edition (only $4.99), Roller Coaster Tycoon series, Outcast ($2.99), Master of Orion series, Alone in the Dark games ($2.99 each) and more! No matter how many games you buy, you get the 50% discount," says GOG. The Witcher was developed by CD Projekt, the owners of GOG. It's a medieval fantasy RPG starring Geralt, a monster hunter for hire with special powers. The game received a lot of praise for its branching storyline and dark tone. The Enhanced Edition of the game fixed many bugs, reduced loading times and added a toolset so you could make your own adventures. While CD Projekt released a sequel in May - The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings - it's not part of the discount. I guess it's a bit too new for CD Projekt to knock off half its price. Games sold through GOG don't have any DRM. You also don't need to download a software client in order to install or play the games. All titles available on GOG are compatible with Windows XP and Vista. The Atari discount will run until October 17th |
