Hallow's End, World of Warcraft's Halloween-themed festival, is now live. The world event, featuring a variety of seasonal activities and items, will run until October 31st on the game's servers.
All of the inns throughout the game will let players trick-or-treat. The innkeepers will give players candy, masks, wands and other goodies. By trick-or-treating or doing season daily quests, players will earn Tricky Treats. These treats can be used to purchase vanity pets and other items. Players who are level 89 or 90 can look forward to facing the Headless Horsemen again. This fight will offer the same rewards that it always has, but these items have been beefed up significantly. The equipment he drops is now iLevel 470, making it ideal for players gearing up for the new raid zones. Participating in Hallow's End's various events will earn you numerous Achievements. By accumulating all of them, you'll get a special "the Hallowed" title for your character. The Hallow's End Achievements are also required for "What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been," the Meta-Achievement that unlocks a Violet Proto-Drake mount.
