World Of Warcraft Terrace Of Endless Spring Raid DelayedAuthor: Pete Haas

Blizzard will not be releasing two raids for World of Warcraft this week. Instead, Heart of Fear will be released on its own this Tuesday. Terrace of Endless Spring's launch has been pushed back by two weeks.
The delay to Terrace was apparently not due to any sort of development snafu. Instead, Blizzard says that they want players "to focus on tackling these new encounters without feeling overwhelmed." Heart and Terrace have a combined 10 new boss encounters for players to tackle. With Terrace pushed back two weeks, players will now only have to learn 6 new encounters (assuming they even get through the whole raid). This change should only really affect hardcore raiders. Terrace is only unlocked for players after they complete Heart. Blizzard says that Heart will "take the typical group some time to master," so it might take many guilds more than two weeks to complete it anyway. However, more hardcore raiders who were planning on rolling through Heart and then immediately moving onto Terrace will have to cool their heels instead. Blizzard released the first raid of this expansion pack, Mogu'shan Vaults, in the beginning of October. They're being very careful to stagger the release of new raids for the game. They're probably doing this partly out of concern for subscriber numbers. Releasing a huge chunk of new content all at once might cause players to play through all of it immediately and get bored. However, if you release content at a steady rate, it keeps players engaged over a longer period of time. Other than the delay to Terrace, the schedule for upcoming raids will remain the same. The Looking for Raid mode (i.e. easy mode) for Heart of Fear and Terrace will both be released next Tuesday, along with Heroic Heart of Fear Back to top
