It's the final day of the Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale and today's offerings should come as a happy surprise to all of you virtual pugilists in the audience. Microsoft is sending off its seven-day sales promotion with flying kicks and fiery punches as eight fighting games receive discounts of up to 75 percent off for one day only.
This week-long marathon over on XBL has seen everything from the Halo series to a collection of Resident Evil games marked down for a single 24 hours of savings. Today's selections come from a variety of franchises, but every single one of them fits comfortably into the world of fighters.
The latest Mortal Kombat can be grabbed for $19.99 today while the clever crossover, Mortal Kombat vs. DCU can be yours for the low-low price of $4.99.
The original Street Fighter IV is just $9.99 today, as is the enhanced version, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition. At the same price, you'd be silly not to go with the Arcade Edition. Just sayin'. Also, if you prefer your fighters to be the product of two worlds colliding, you might want to check out Street Fighter X Tekken for $19.99.
Tekken 6 is available today for $9.99 while Tekken Tag Tournament 2 can be yours for $19.99.
Finally, The King of Fighters XIII has been marked down to $9.99.
As a reminder, an additional collection of 15 games are also on sale within the Xbox Live Games on Demand section. These games were available at discounted prices throughout the entire sale but, this being the final day of the promotion, it's your last chance to take advantage of those prices, too.
