As was previously announced, Microsoft is about to discontinue Xbox Live support for the Xbox Original and its games. The official shutdown will take place on Wednesday so you've got one day left.

This shutdown will even affect Xbox Original games you're playing on your Xbox 360. It doesn't matter if you downloaded it to your 360 or if you're playing on the disc. No loopholes, here.

When Microsoft first confirmed the shutdown, they said that it would enable them to "continue evolving the LIVE service with new features and experiences that fully harness the power of Xbox 360 and the Xbox LIVE community."
