GAMING BLEND

Yesterday Official Website Goes Live Today

Pendulo Studios has really carved out their very own little niche with adventure point-and-click games. They're sort of this generation's Sierra Interactive. Well, their latest title, Yesterday, just received its very own website ahead of its March, 2012 release.

The game hasn't really been hitting the promotional circuits as much as it could, but Focus Home Interactive is doing what they can to make sure gamers are at least aware of Yesterday's presence.

The game itself is a lot unlike other recent titles from Pendulo Studios. Their last title was a quirky couples adventure title called The Next Big Thing, which was kind of a monster-themed, political-brain washing, Hollywood propaganda spoof. Before that Pendulo gained fame and recognition from the multi-million selling Runaway series, which was a risqué couples adventure-game with a hint of dark comedy.

Yesterday does away with the quirky themes and comedy acts, instead the game focuses heavily on being a character driven-thriller, which is somewhat unique for a point-and-click adventure title. The plot revolves around grizzly murders of a seemingly supernatural element and it's up to players to solve the mystery and figure out exactly what's going on. There's a strong hint of Indigo Prophecy in there, which seems pretty cool.

The new website for the game shows off a couple of new screenshots and additional info on the characters and settings. You can learn more by paying a visit to the Official Yesterday Website.
