The American Music Awards were held last night, and former American Idol contestants Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry dominated, taking home three awards each. Shockingly, Taylor Hicks was neither nominated nor in attendance. I’ve always liked Carrie Underwood. Her voice is soothing and melodic, her boobs large and perky. You just can’t go wrong there.
According to The Celebrity Cafe, Beyonce was also honored during the ceremony as International Artist of the Year. The former Destiny’s Child member gave the audience a country version of “Irreplaceable.”
Does anyone really care about the American Music Awards? It’s less credible than the Grammys, and that is saying a lot. Be sure to tune in next year when the awards committee bestows honor on 2008's flavors of the week.
