Amy Winehouse Screw Up For Friday 5/30

Openly smoking crack, head-butting bar patrons and having a husband in jail would serve as most people’s rock bottom. Not Amy Winehouse. The soul songstress continued a successful streak of late-shows, no-shows and hobos when she showed up one hour after she was due to perform at the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon Friday. After serving a crowd of 90,000 an underwhelming performance, the Associated Press reports the 55-minute set was chock full of fuck-ups including voice cracking, distractions and at one point dashing off stage mid-performance.

Winehouse reportedly had cuts and bandages on her hands and arms while she sucked on throat candy. Throat candy? Sure that wasn’t a crack rock? The Grammy-winner also appeared to be openly consuming alcohol during her set, with her red bubble heart “Blake” hairpin safely secured into her beehive. This, Winehouse’s first performance since leaving rehab – which time I have no idea – did not even include an encore as she dashed off stage unannounced leaving the crowd to wait for a follow up performance by Lenny Kravtiz. Winehouse apologized for being late due to a sore throat telling the crowd “Hey Lisbon, I’m sorry I’m late.” Hey Amy, sorry we’re still listening.
